The Ice is leaving Mantua reservoir
Drove past Mantua in Northern Utah and the ice is very thin and dangerous. I have heard that Hyrum, Porcupine and other lakes are loosing their ice as well. The fish are hungry and thin but still are fun to catch and release. Here is a link to check the latest fishing conditions in Utah. Have fun and stay safe

Warmer Temperatures Good Fishing
The Temperatures in Cache Valley are getting warmer and the fishing is changing. The link Warmer Temperatures will take you to a fishing report for Cache Valley. Remember as the weather warms conditions may change rapidly, higher water, soft banks, and poor driving conditions off road. Please be safe we don't want to read about someone getting hurt, but rather the big fish you caught.
Good Fishing

Fishing Lakes in Cache Valley
Have you ever fished in White Pine Lake? It is a lake at over 8000 feet in altitude on Mount Naomi range in Cache County, Utah with the prettiest Brook Trout I have ever caught. It is about a three mile hike in and some of the terrain is rough but all in all not a bad walk for someone who is in shape for hiking. The area is Primitive so there are no motor vehicles allowed, but if you have horses available it's a great ride into the lake. When I was there we used a brass colored Jake's Lure. You can find them through this link JAKE'S LURES Try White Pine and take a night or two and camp, you won't regret it. See this list of lakes in Cache Valley for a variety of outdoor activities follow this link LAKES in CACHE COUNTY.
Have a great outdoor season
